The Jackson Hole Film Festival is a premier destination competitive film festival and a program of the Jackson Hole Film Institute, a non-profit organization. Their stated goal is to empower independent filmmakers and inspire global audiences through the cultivation, education and business of film and the cinematic arts. The 2008 Jackson Hole Film Festival, June 5-9, will screen more than 80 independent films competing in seven competitive program categories. Provocative forum discussions and lively evening events enrich the Festival and give festival goers the opportunity to interact with filmmakers in a casual setting.
