The Tanglewood Music Center (www.tanglewood.org) in Lenox, Massachusetts, is the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and the setting for a wide variety of musical performances each year.

There's no better place in all of New England to spread out a picnic blanket, gnosh on gourmet food and listen to live music as the sun sets and the stars dot the summer sky. This summer, Tanglewood celebrates its 68th concert season in a series of performances stretching from June through August.

BSO Music Director James Levine leads 12 Tanglewood programs including Berlioz' opera "Les Troyens" to open the season.

Additional Tanglewood season highlights include All-Beethoven and All-Mozart weekends, concert performance of Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" conducted by James Levine, "Bernstein Tribute" with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops, John Williams' annual Film Night, and two James Taylor performances, July 3 and 4.
