Pocahontas County, WV is known as the 'Birthplace of Rivers' with eight of the finest trout streams in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast originating within the County. In the center of Pocahontas County, Snowshoe Mountain sits nearly a mile high atop Cheat Mountain - offering anglers and sportsmen endless opportunities to explore this amazing region. Snowshoe offers half day, full day and multiple day fishing excursions.
All guided trips are centered around: Cherry River, Gauley River, Shavers Fork of the Cheat, Cranberry River, Greenbrier River, Tygart River, Elk River, New River and Williams River.
